Karpal wants DAP disciplinary team to decide on Ramasamy

GEORGE TOWN: DAP chairman Karpal Singh has urged the party's disciplinary committee to meet soon to decide on the complaints lodged against Penang deputy chief minister II Dr P. Ramasamy.

He said there were about four complaints lodged by members against Dr Ramasamy.

"The committee has to meet soon as discipline is an important matter," he said at a press conference in Air Itam.

Karpal said he also heard of Dr Ramasamy planning to file a suit against The Star newspaper on Monday.

"I support The Star for standing up against Dr Ramasamy over his denial that some DAP leaders had asked for projects and favours,' he said.
