Dr Chua: Time to settle shortage of Chinese school teachers
IPOH: It is time for the Education Ministry to look into the issue of teacher shortage in SJK(C) schools, said MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek.
He said the ministry had promised to solve this problem when he first entered MCA central committee.
"Till this day the problem still exists," he said.
Dr Chua said data on the number of SJK(C) teachers provided to the ministry might not reflect the reality.
"I will be meeting the Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyddin Yassin to discuss this matter," he said.
