SANDAKAN: All 80-year-old Pureza Santos Enriquez wants from her son is a telephone call.

For the last four years, she has heard nothing from Bryan Peter Enriquez who was last known to be working in the peninsula.

“He has never failed to call me on my birthday, Mothers Day and Christmas,” Pureza said.

She said Bryan left Sandakan to seek greener pastures in the peninsula seven years ago.

Call me, my boy: Pureza showing her son Bryan’s picture. She last heard from him four years ago.

Bryan, 54, had told her that he worked as a security guard in Kuala Lumpur.

“I just want to know if he’s all right. I pray for his safety,” said the former Public Works Department staff whose late husband worked in the Sabah Forestry Department.

Three days ago, Pureza lodged a police report in the hope of locating her son.

“I don’t know if it will be of any help, I am just trying whatever way I can to find my son,” she said.

Pureza said she tried to obtain Bryan’s last place of employment from the Employees Provident Fund. “But the officers declined to provide details for reasons of confidentiality,” she said.

Anyone who knows where Bryan is can contact Pureza at 012-861 3139.
