Najib begins visit to Malacca
MALACCA: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak began his one-day visit to Malaca on Friday by paying a courtesy call on Yang Dipertua Negeri Melaka Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob at Istana Melaka, here.
The Prime Minister, who arrived at 9.45am, was accompanied by his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, and Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam.
Najib has a tight schedule, including attending a programme to hand over the letters of offer for the Batu Berendam Public Housing Programme (PPR) at Sungai Putat, here this morning besides officiating the Taman Seri Manggis in Machap Umboo and the People-Friendly Homes, a project implemented by the Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad in Kampung Padang Kerbau, Durian Tunggal.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to go on a walkabout at Jalan Temenggong, Jalan Bunga Raya and Jalan Kee Ann this afternoon and attend a dinner with the people at Taman Malim Jaya. - Bernama
