Teenage girl found dead in tub at home
TAIPING: A 16-year-old girl was found dead in a tub in the bathroom of her house in Jalan Trong here.
Her mother believes two stalkers are involved in the death of Nurul Aien Saimon, a Form Four student at SM Datuk Wan Ahmad Rasdi.
Factory worker Nonri Musa, 40, said several days ago, her youngest child Mohd Azrul, 10, saw two men peeping through a window of their home.
Tragic find: Nonri showing the water tub where Nurul Aien’s (inset) body was found by Mohd Azrul. “They fled when he went to investigate,” Nonri said at her daughter's funeral here yesterday.
Nonri was away attending a parent-teacher association meeting while Mohd Azrul was at their grandmother's home nearby when the incident happened on Friday.
“Nurul Aien had accompanied Mohd Azrul to their grandmother's house earlier but said she wanted to bathe and went home. When Mohd Azrul returned at about 4.30pm, he found Nurul Aien in the tub with her head underwater,” said Nonri.
Taiping OCPD ACP Yusuf Mohd Diah said a post-mortem showed Nurul Aien had drowned.
“The deceased sustained a blow to the back of her head,” he said.
