PETALING JAYA: Flights from KL International Airport to London's Heathrow Airport have been thrown into disarray following severe snowstorms in Europe.
Malaysia Airlines (MAS) said Heathrow worked out a revised flight schedule with all airlines yesterday to minimise passengers' inconvenience.
MAS said Flight MH4, which was scheduled to depart KLIA at 10.45am, had been slotted to depart at 5.35am today. It should arrive at London at 5.05pm on Monday (London time).

“Customers are advised to log on to www.malaysiaairlines.com and view the travel alert updates or call MAS' 24-hour toll-free 1300 88 3000 (within Malaysia) or +603 7843 3000 (from outside Malaysia) for information on the situation,” it said.
On its website, Emirates posted that its flights EK29 and EK05 scheduled to depart Dubai at 9.40am and 4.30pm (Dubai time) respectively yesterday and the return flights EK30 and EK06, due to depart Heathrow at 4.35pm and 10pm (London time) on the same day, were cancelled.
“Passengers due to travel to or from LHR are advised to check the status of their flight using the flight status tool on the website before departing for the airport,” it said.
Meanwhile, AirAsia X spokesman said all flights to London's Gatwick Airport and Japan were on schedule following heavy snowfalls that also hit northern Japan for weeks.
Singapore Airlines posted on its website that flights SQ308 (Singapore-London) and SQ319 (London-Singapore) were cancelled yesterday.
After MAS posted the flights' changes on its Facebook page, user Ibrahim Isahak said: “LHR airport tarmac is full of snow. Hopefully BAA (BAA Airports Limited) will able to clear the snow for MH001 to push back on time”.
Netizen Irene Lee said her sister's flight that was supposed to depart at 10pm from Heathrow to KLIA was delayed.
