A MAN smeared human faeces on his 10-year-old daughter's lips as punishment for being disobedient, reported Nanyang Siang Pau.
The daily reported that the incident happened in a market in Hangzhou, China.
The man, in his 30s, had scraped the faeces from a public toilet bowl at a market in Hangzhou and smeared it on his daughter's lips.
He did it five times, going into the toilet each time to scrape faeces.
The man has since owned up to his actions after being reprimanded by the police.
He said he punished his daughter because she did not obey his instructions to arrange newspapers properly.
> Sin Chew Daily reported that a fashion designer in Singapore went under the knife 10 times just to look like an anime girl with sparkling big eyes and a heart-shaped face.
The 29-year-old woman, known as Jacqueline, spent S$136,000 (RM326,400) on plastic surgery and correction jobs after she failed to lose weight.
She had dieted and exercised for months to shed excess weight after putting on 6kg in 18 months about two years ago.
When there was no improvement, she decided not just to lose weight but also to revamp her entire look.
Jacqueline, who shared her surgical experience in her blog, received hundreds of e-mails daily from netizens who sought her advice.
“I am not out for fame. I just want to help other women become pretty or even prettier than me,” Sin Chew quoted her.
