Trio sought over murder of police constable
KUALA LUMPUR: Three men are being sought by police in connection with the murder of a police constable.
The men, believed to be friends of Kons V. Divendran, 25, were the last ones to see him alive before he went missing on Wednesday.
Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Zakaria Pagan said a post-mortem revealed that Kons Divendran had died from severe head injuries caused by a blunt object.
“The report also indicated that Kons Divendran had been dead for at least 48 hours.
“We are trying to ascertain whether he was killed at the site where the body was found or elsewhere,” he said.
On Saturday, Kons Divendran’s body was found in a drain under a flyover near Batu Caves by his uncle, who is also a policeman.
