Woman’s body found in luggage in hotel
KUALA LUMPUR: A woman's body was found in a luggage bag at a hotel here Sunday night, police said on Monday.
Dang Wangi police chief ACP Zulkarnain Abdul Rahman said a hotel worker found the bag with the woman's body inside at about 9.30pm.
"The victim is believed to have been killed in another room and had her body stuffed in the bag and placed there," he said when contacted by Bernama.
Police did not find any identification document on the victim but hotel workers said that she was Indonesian and was last seen with a Bangladeshi.
Police have obtained statements from several witnesses.
The body has been sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital. - Bernama
