Pahang Barisan prepares general election manifesto
TEMERLOH: The Pahang Barisan Nasional is now in the final stage of preparing its manifesto for the 13th general election, Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob said.
Adnan, who is state Barisan chairman, said the manifesto which would be brief and easy to understand, would encompass various aspects to protect the interests of the people.
"Pahang BN is also ready for the election at anytime," he told reporters after opening the 2012 Tour of Pahang Series Social Media Convention here on Monday.
On election candidates, Adnan said at the moment the matter had not been thought of yet.
Adnan said Pahang Barisan was confident of recapturing seats which had been won by the opposition in the last general election.
"If all components are united and willing to work hard we will win with a bigger majority," he said.
Earlier when opening the convention, he said practitioners of social media should be responsible when reporting news and information and not to abuse the platform.
"All news and information should be accurate, otherwise they would only confuse and trouble the people," he said. - Bernama
