Supplementary electoral rolls on display until Feb 14
KUALA LUMPUR: The Election Commission (EC) will display the supplementary electoral rolls for the fourth quarter of 2011 from Wednesday until Tuesday at 937 venues nationwide.
The rolls will be displayed at 15 EC state offices, 457 computerised post offices, 86 government complexes/offices, 117 district/land offices, 48 district/municipal councils, 191 multipurpose/community halls/village head offices and other places (23), said EC public relations officer Sabri Said.
He said the EC received 212,826 applications for registration as new voters and 83,846 applications for change of address of the polling centre between October and December last year.
The rolls is also posted on the EC website at www.spr.gov.my while enquiries can be made to the EC headquarters at 03-8885 6565 (telephone), 03-88889117 (fax) or any state EC office, he said in a statement. - Bernama
