Private college lecturer held for graft


IPOH: A lecturer at a private college here has been remanded by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to assist in an investigation over corrupt practice.

A source from the MACC said Thursday the male lecturer was allegedly asking and receiving money from students to ensure they passed their examination papers.

According to the source, the lecturer was detained at the college at 2pm Wednesday after receiving RM300 from a student.
