HONG Kong superstar Andy Lau is the proud father of a baby girl who weighs about 2.7kg, China Press reported.
It was reported that Lau's wife, Malaysian Carol Chu, 46, gave birth at the Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital in Happy Valley on Tuesday.
The report also said that both mother and daughter were doing fine. However, Lau, 50, has yet to make any official statement about the birth.
> Sin Chew Daily reported that 91% of mothers who took part in a survey said they wanted an iPad as a Mother's Day gift instead of fresh flowers. The survey conducted by TechBargains.com revealed that most mothers in the United States wished for the gadget.
However, only 12% of those interviewed said they would buy the gadgets as gifts for their mothers.
The survey also showed that 59% said they would not spend more than US$50 (RM153.50) for gifts and 19% would not buy any gift for their mothers.
> The daily also reported that a survey conducted by advertising agency JWT showed that 10% of the 300 Singaporeans interviewed admitted to surfing social networking sites while being intimate with their partners.
According to the report, 2% of them would also surf social networking sites while breastfeeding.
The survey was conducted between Feb 1 and Feb 8 on 900 Singaporeans, Chinese and Americans (300 from each country) aged between 18 and 26.
In Singapore, 96% of working adults said social networking sites were “very important” to them.
