No gatecrashers at Ella Chen’s wedding banquet
ELLA Chen of Taiwan girl group S.H.E and her Malaysian husband Alvin Lai have hired 10 security guards to prevent gatecrashers at their wedding banquet on Saturday.
The couple, who was married in Taiwan early this month, will be holding the reception for their Malaysian friends and relatives at a hotel in Malacca.
However, due to limited space, not all of their family members and friends could be invited, reported Guang Ming Daily.
Many who were left out apparently called close relatives, asking for invitations.
Some even told Lai's family members that they did not mind paying for their own food, the daily said.
The daily reported that the venue could only accommodate 80 tables with 10 guests at each table.
Some of Chen's fans have passed their wedding gifts through Lai's family members.

Lau had said on his official fan page that he would not post photos of his baby.
His Malaysian wife Carol Chu gave birth to the baby on May 8 in Hong Kong.
Reporters and photographers have been camping near the hospital since news of the baby's birth broke.
