Students can now check application status
PETALING JAYA: Students who have appealed for entry into public universities or premier polytechnics under the post Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) programme can check their status from noon today.
They can print the official offer letters from the websites of their respective public universities or the Polytechnic Education Department under the Higher Education Ministry (www.politeknik.edu.my).
The ministry in a statement said it has never appointed any agent or representative to manage the appeal cases of students who failed to obtain a place in public universities or premier polytechnics.
The appeal of such cases are handled by the Students Admission Division according to the ministry's guidelines.
The decision of the appeal is final and if students do not receive any offer by June 30, their appeal is deemed to have failed.
To check their status, students can send SMS from noon on June 14 by typing UPU
