The trio were heading towards Kota Baru and Mohd Saari was heading towards Kuala Kerai when the accident happened.

“From our initial investigations, it is believed that both vehicles were travelling at high speed,” Jalaluddin said in a statement.

The body of Abdul Wahab has been sent to Kuala Lumpur for burial while Abdul Kadir’s body will be sent to his family’s home in Ulu Chenka, Jerantut, he added.
