Lim: Scrutinise but get facts right

GEORGE TOWN: The state government does not mind being scrutinised by civil society and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) over its hillslope projects provided they get their facts right, said Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng.

“We will continue to engage with them and will bear scrutiny if it is based on facts,’’ he said this after a meeting with the Consumers Association of Penang (CAP) president S.M. Mohamed Idris.

The meeting is believed to be the first between the two following their spat in March.
