Stop those who smoke while driving

WE should ban smoking while driving. Apart from being a danger on the road, it also leads to littering.

How many times have we seen the driver’s arm dangling out of the window with a lighted cigarette in between his fingers, flicking ash onto the road.

The driver then tosses out the cigarette butt in the path of other road users.

The next time you stop at a road junction or the traffic lights, just look at the roadside or the road divider.

You can see the amount of cigarette butts and empty cigarette boxes discarded by irresposible smoking drivers.
