Score yourself two smartphones

PETALING JAYA: Two smartphones are up for grabs at The Star's eurofutsal Championship 2012 at Padang@1U here on Saturday.

To qualify for the simple contest to win the HTC One V phones, fans will have to be Maxis subscribers. Details of the contest will be unveiled at the futsal venue.

To be eligible for the draw, head over to the Maxis counter and simply flash “My Maxis” on your mobile phones for a lucky draw slip. The draws will be done before the live screening and during halftime. Just like the first championship two weeks ago, 16 teams will be vying for the right to be called The Star eurofutsal champions.

This Euro-themed futsal competition will see each team representing one country participating in Euro 2012. Together with medals and bragging rights, cash prizes will also be up for grabs.

While teams take to the pitch, families, supporters and football fans will be able to catch the live screening of the quarter-final between Spain and France at 2.45am.

This is part of Astro's Unmissable Tour in conjunction with Euro 2012.

If you need an incentive to show up early, look no further because the first 100 people who come in any football jersey from midnight will be treated to a complimentary beer from Carlsberg.
