Ahmad Maslan denies Louis Dreyfus pulling out of FGVH

By MAZWIN NIK ANIS

KUALA LUMPUR: Felda Global Ventures Holdings is still discussing its collaboration with Louis Dreyfus Commodities (LDC), which may see the latter hold less than the 2.5% of FGV shares then earlier planned, the Dewan Rakyat was told.

Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Ahmad Maslan denied media reports that LDC was pulling out as a strategic investor, adding that discussions were still on-going.

"However, the value of shares to be held by LDC may be lower than 2.5% but this will not pose a problem for FGV's initial public offering, which has been over subcribed by 44 times.

"There are a lot of investors that are prepared (to take up FGV shares). However, discussions are still on going," he said in a reply to Nurul Izzah Anwar (PKR-Lembah Pantai).
