SIN Chew Daily reported that a Buddhist monk from Yunnan, China, gave up his monastic life to marry a businesswoman in Kunming.

The event was a hot topic among Internet surfers, who said that the 26-year-old woman ran a jade trading business.

The paper quoted Kunming Buddhist Association and a master from the Qiongzhu Temple confirming the man's departure and subsequent marriage.

> The daily also reported that an online language service company has resorted to employing sexy models in bikinis to teach Mandarin phrases in their online video lessons.

One of the lessons titled “What time is it?” was conducted by two lingerie-wearing models grappling with each other on a bed.

The others lessons featured models in racy outfits washing a car with foamy sponges.

It was reported that the clips focused more on their breasts and buttocks.

The website became an instant Internet hit since it was launched late last year.
