Steer clear of anti-Faekah saga, PKR members told

KLANG: Disciplinary action will be taken against PKR members if they are found to be involved in a campaign to oust Faekah Husin, the political secretary to Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.

PKR vice-president Tian Chua said the so-called anti-Faekah movement was made up of irresponsible groups wanting to weaken the party and suggested that it was masterminded by outsiders.

“So far, I don't think there is any evidence that PKR members are involved. It is up to the disciplinary committee to investigate and make a ruling,” he said, adding that members unhappy with Faekah could channel their grouses using the party's internal channels.

“If any PKR member thinks Faekah has done something wrong, lodge a complaint with the party.”

In recent weeks, an anonymous group using the Twitter handle @PecatFaekah and the Twitter hashtag #kamisayangpkr has emerged, expressing support for PKR deputy president Azmin Ali and urging Faekah to resign due to alleged mishandling of the SelangorKu financial grants.
