Foreigner commits suicide after killing kids

KAJANG: A 39-year-old foreigner was found dead together with his son and daughter at a condominium basement car park in Batu 9, Cheras, here.
It is learnt that Ismail Khan, a Pakistani, took his children, Mohd Faizal, nine, and Aqsa, six, to the top floor of the Langat Jaya condominium and pushed them off the building last night.
He then jumped off the condominium.
Security guards who discovered the bodies in a pool of blood called their unit and informed the maid, who later came and identified the bodies.
The children were clad in their school uniform when their bodies were discovered.
Police also found the school bags of Mohd Faizal and Aqsa at the scene.
The bodies have been sent to the Kajang hospital for a post-mortem.
Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Abdul Rashid Abdul Wahab said Ismail had been living separately from his wife after she filed for divorce last year.
He said it was believed that Ismail committed suicide as he did not want to divorce his wife, who is a Malaysian and working as a senior executive in the city.
Initial investigations also revealed that the husband had tried to commit suicide and kill his children in November last year but they were saved, and his wife had lodged a police report on the matter.
