Woman who ran amok charged wth criminally intimidating a policeman

PUTRAJAYA: The woman who ran amok with the samurai sword wielding man near the Prime Minister's Office here last Monday has been charged with criminally intimidating a policeman during the incident.
Muhdalena Ahmad, 28, was also charged with carrying a sword.
She was accused of committing the offences at Kompleks B, Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Presint 1 here about 2.30pm on July 9.
Muhdalena was charged at the Putrajaya Sessions Court that presided at a ward in Hospital Putrajaya where she was admitted after sustaining injuries during the incident.
Her partner Khalil Afendi died at the same hospital after succumbing to injuries.
Judge Mohd Kafli Che Ali set bail at RM5,000 for each count and fixed Aug 29 for mention.
Deputy public prosecutor Siti Balkiah Mohd Yazaid appeared for the prosecution while the accused was unrepresented.
