T’ganu declares holiday on Sunday after Sukma win
KEMAMAN: Terengganu Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said has declared this Sunday a public holiday for the state in conjunction with the victory by the Terengganu Sukma contingent, which emerged overall champion in the 15th Malaysia Games (Sukma) in Pahang recently.
He announced this at the Padang Astaka, Cukai after a procession staged to celebrate the contingent's homecoming at the Kemaman-Kuantan border on Tuesday.
Terengganu collected 62 Gold, 24 Silver and 31 Bronze medals to stamp its dominance for the fourth time since the Terengganu Sukma in 2008, Melaka Sukma (2010) and Kuala Lumpur Sukma (2011). - Bernama
