NRD operating hours during Ramadan


KUALA LUMPUR: Operating hours of National Registration Department (NRD) counter service nationwide will see some changes during Ramadan, said a statement Thursday.

Operating hours for NRD headquarters in Putrajaya and other states except Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu, are from 7:30am-5pm (Monday-Friday) and from 9am- 2pm (Saturday and Sunday).

Operating hours for Kelantan and Terengganu, are 7.30am-5pm (Sunday-Wednesday), 7.30am-3.30pm (Thursday), 9am-12pm (Friday) and 9am-2pm (Saturday).

Operating hours in Kedah are 7.30am-5pm (Sunday-Wednesday), 7.30am-4pm (Thursday), 9am-12pm (Friday) and 9am-2pm (Saturday).

The NRD counter in Terengganu will be closed three days from Friday to mark the Sultan's birthday and celebrate the state's success at Malaysia Games (Sukma).

The statement also said that the counter in Malacca and Johor will be closed two days from Saturday to mark the start of Ramadan.
