S'gor MB: State civil servants to get same amount of bonus as Federal counterparts

SHAH ALAM: Civil servants in Selangor will get the same amount of Hari Raya bonus as their Federal counterparts.
Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim said the state government would ensure that civil servants in the state enjoy equality in terms of bonus payouts, if the Federal Government declares a bonus in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri next month.
“If the Federal staff gets it, so will the civil servants working in the state. This is not about one-upmanship.
“It will be the same (amount) because it relates to pension,” he told reporters at the state secretariat Monday.
