Foreign student nabbed over murder of real estate agent, confesses to another murder

SHAH ALAM: A foreign student, who was arrested for his involvement in the murder of real estate agent Tang Yong Ching, has confessed to yet another murder.

Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Mohd Adnan Abdullah said the suspect had confessed to the murder of printing company owner Cheng Kok Seng, 31.

Cheng, who had planned to get married on July 21, went missing on June 20 and his decomposed body was found a week later near a stream in Ara Damansara, the same area Tang Yong Ching's body was found.

“During the interrogation, the suspect confessed he was involved in Cheng's murder.

“DNA samples also confirmed that the decomposed body found was that of Cheng,” he said adding that his family had already claimed the body.

Cheng, was last seen in Tropicana, Petaling Jaya, at 2pm on June 20. His family lodged a police report when he failed to return home.

On June 22, his Toyota Avanza was discovered parked at a condominium in Kota Damansara, and four days later police found the decomposed body of a man at some bushes in Ara Damansara.

Tang was last seen on July 5 when he left his home in Ara Damansara. The father of two was found dead a week later in the same area.

The student was among two men arrested after one of them tried to use Tang's debit card. He later led police to the body.
