Bus driver killed in collision between bus and two trailers

IPOH: A co-driver was killed after he got down to open the emergency door following an accident and was hit by a trailer at KM303 on the North South Expressway on Thursday.
The bus was heading to Kuala Lumpur when it collided with another trailer at about 3am.
Azizan Hamid Asuan, 51, got down to open the door to let the injured passengers out.
As he was doing this, a container truck trying to avoid the accident swerved into the emergency lane and hit Azizan killing him on the spot.
Kampar OCPD Supt Abdul Aziz Salleh said three bus passengers and the container driver were given outpatient treatment at Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital.
