Strong quake hits Sulawesi, Indonesia
KUALA LUMPUR: An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale occurred in Sulawesi, Indonesia at 5.41pm on Saturday.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department in a statement said the epicentre was 56km Southeast of Palu, Indonesia and 645km Southeast of Sarikei, Sarawak.
The department will monitor the situation and provide updates but no tsunami threat said the statement. - Bernama
