CHESS TOURNEY
Enrol now for the International Chess Open 2012 from Sept 1 and Sept 2 in the 7 rounds Swiss system with a total prize of more than RM3,500 at the Multimedia University Malacca campus in Bukit Beruang. Competition open to participants of all ages from Malaysia and abroad. All participants will also be given certificates of participation. BALIK KAMPUNG REUNION
Malacca High School’s Class of 65’ is organising a ‘balik kampung’ reunion, which would kick off with a ‘Boys’ Nite’ on Oct 19. A group visit to the alma mater is scheduled in the morning of Oct 20, followed by a grand dinner the same day. A special ‘brunch’ session is also lined up on Oct 21. YWCA CLASS

WATERCRAFT EXPO
Watercraft Gallery in Pulau Beram (a small island in Pahang River opposite Pahang State Museum in Pekan) will showcase a range of water crafts, models of a fishermen’s house and floating huts. It is open from 9am to 5.30pm daily except on Mondays. Admission is free.
SIGN LANGUAGE

FIRST AID COURSES
MALACCA St John Ambulance conducts public first aid and CPR courses by request for individuals and small groups.
