Three suspected Indonesian burglars shot dead

GEORGE TOWN: Police shot dead three Indonesians who were believed to have been involved in at least 18 burglaries.
It is learnt that at least 10 shots were fired at the suspects when they tried to attack a team of policemen with parangs after the team approached them near the Penang Municipal Park here at about 4am Sunday morning.
Investigations revealed that the suspects had tried to break into a house in Taman Jesselton prior to the incident.
