Duo rob soldier and girlfriend
KUCHING: A soldier and his female companion were robbed near the State Legislative Assembly complex early yesterday.
The 23-year-old from Muara Tuang was about to leave the area around 4am when two men on a motorcycle arrived.
He told police at the Gita station that the men asked for a spark plug from him.
When he got off his motorcycle, one of them whipped out a knife and pointed it at his companion.
Fearing for their safety, he and his companion showed no resistance when the men took their belongings – a gold bracelet, a gold necklace, a locket and a mobile phone.
