Promise to upgrade Klang’s Little India not kept
SELANGOR Mentri Besar, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim had in October last year promised to upgrade Klang’s Little India to be on par with the Little India project in Brickfields.
But one year later, it is just an empty promise to the Indian community.
An arch and other upgrading works were proposed by the Mentri Besar himself in conjunction with his walkabout during last year’s Deepavali celebrations at Tengku Kelana.
Deepavali is just around the corner, so will we see concrete results on the ground or hear another round of promises that will be forgotten after the coming general election?
Pakatan needs to be as good in keeping its promises as making them.
