DPM chairs National Land Council meeting
PUTRAJAYA: Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin Thursday chaired the 68th meeting of the National Land Council (MTN) at the Perdana Putra Building.
Muhyiddin Yassin together with Douglas Unggah Embas at the National Land Council meeting in Putrajaya Several Cabinet ministers, among them Natural Resources and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Douglas Uggah Embas, Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal and Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Datuk Seri Noh Omar, as well as menteris besar attended the meeting.
The meeting, which began at about 9.30am, was also attended by the Chief Secretary to the Government, Datuk Seri Dr Ali Hamsa.
The National Land Council meeting is held to discuss policies and legislation pertaining to the development and control of land use for mining, agriculture and forestry, among others. - Bernama
