Young Icon awards go to five young Malaysians
KUALA LUMPUR: Diving queen Pandelela Rinong Pamg, 19, was among five recipients of young icon awards at the "Merdeka 55: Janji Ditepati" gathering here on Friday night.
The others were national badminton ace Datuk Lee Chong Wei, singer Yunalis Zarai (more popularly known as Yuna), national squash queen Datuk Nicol Ann David, and a disabled youth, who is active in social work, Muhammad Zhariff Afandi. - Bernama
