Kelantan Health Dept seizes sex toys from ‘unrepentant’ traders
KOTA BARU: The Kelantan Health Department detained four traders for selling illegal sex stimulants and erotic sexual toys at Dataran Ilmu here last Friday, said its director Datuk Dr Ahmad Razin Ahmad Maher on Tuesday.
The four were repeated offenders who did not repent despite being charged in court several times before, he said.
He told reporters at the Kelantan Federal Development Department here that 11 various brands of sex stimulants and several sex toys worth RM6,330 were seized and handed over to the Department's Pharmaucetical Enforcement Branch for investigation and prosecution.
Ahmad Razin said the four traders would be charged under the Rule 7(1)(a) of Controlled Rules of Drug and Cosmetic 1984.
He said since 2010 the department had carried out 23 raids and seized contraband goods worth RM81,192 while 20 were prosecuted in court for selling illegal sex stimulants and sex toys. - Bernama
