PETALING JAYA: A Magistrate's court here has postponed a case involving the husband of TV9 executive Syaleza Jaffar, who was found dead with strangulation marks, to Oct 25 for mention.

Magistrate Ahmad Solihin Abdul Wahid fixed the date after Deputy Public Prosecutor Siti Ruvinna Mohd Rawi told the court that she had not received the chemist's and post-mortem reports.

Norazman Bashah, 31 was charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.

The IT executive for a gas and oil company was first brought to the court on Aug 10 to face the charge. Syaleza, 31, was found dead on July 27 at 7pm in her bedroom in Saujana Apartment, Damansara Damai, Petaling Jaya.

Norazman reportedly said he found his wife hanging from the ceiling fan and brought her down before calling the police.
