Psychological evaluation for woman who threw newborn baby from flat

SHAH ALAM: Police will be referring for psychological evaluation, the 20-year-old woman who threw her newborn baby from the third floor a flat in Petaling Jaya on Sunday.
Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Mohd Adnan Abdullah said the woman was currently in police custody while she received treatment at the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre.
"We will refer her for psychological evaluation and counselling at the hospital to determine her mental state at the time of incident," he told pressmen at the Selangor police headquarters Tuesday.
