Mr PM, this is why it’s hot!
PETALING JAYA: Followers of Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on Twitter, especially the fans of Gangnam style, have gladly responded to the Prime Minister's query on the Korean phenomenon.
As one @ShaggySyazmeer tweeted: “You should try to listen to that song its catchy and its not like any other k-pop songs!! Oppa Gangnam style!!”
While there are those like @HaieLee who rubbished the craze by saying “the Gangnam style is not interesting at all. It's ridiculous”, there are also those like @DibaAlBasyier who tried to strike a conversation with Najib on the Korean wave, saying: “It has Yoo Jae Suk in it. Do you know him? He's in (Korean variety show) Running Man.”
Someone else also tweeted that “from a positive angle, we could emulate how these Koreans take over the world”.
