Koh: Incidents show Opposition's disrespect for Rukun Negara

KUALA LUMPUR: The acts of stepping on photographs of national leaders and desecrating the national flag at the Merdeka eve gathering on Thursday go against the Rukun Negara, says Gerakan president Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon.
Dr Koh greeting the rakyat at Gerakan Raya open house He said the acts committed during the gathering organised by Janji Demokrasi proved how disrespectful the Opposition is towards the country.
"These actions goes against the fifth principle in the Rukun Negara, "Kesopanan dan Kesusilaan" (Courtesy and Morality)," said Dr Koh at Gerakan's Hari Raya open house.
