One set of rules for everyone
I WRITE in response to the views of many people who are very concerned about the management of their high-rise homes.
There are contentious issues to be resolved and there are pros and cons of having a managing agent run and manage the property.
Whoever manages the property, personnel with the highest integrity and credibility must be in place without personal interests which is the root cause of most problems in stratified homes.
There must not be two sets of rules and action should be taken without fear or favour.
This is because generally people are reasonable most of the time.
It is only when enforcement is not carried out with fairness that the nitty-gritty arises.
