Couple cool about keeping dead son in freezer

A COUPLE kept the body of their son in a freezer at their house in Chongqing, China, for six years because they missed their child too much, reported Kwong Wah Yit Poh.

Their son had died six years ago due to an illness and his body had been in the freezer since.

The couple decided not to bury their son because 15 years earlier, they had lost another child, a daughter, who died from dehydration.

According to the report, whenever the couple missed their son, they would open the freezer to “take a glimpse” of him.

Although their relatives had frequently advised the couple to cremate the son's body, the advice fell on deaf ears because the couple could not stand “losing” their child.

“My son looks as though he is still alive in the fridge. He likes staying by our side and has never left me,” said the father.

> Sin Chew Daily reported that Hong Kong actor Jaycee Chan, the son of the international action star Jackie Chan, denied secretly marrying a Chinese model. Jaycee, 28, said he had no plan to marry at the moment.

“A fortune teller once told me that I should only marry after turning 35. So, although I have a suitable candidate now, I will not get married,” he said.
