M’sia, Brunei sign agreement to enhance economic cooperation

PUTRAJAYA: Economic collaboration between Malaysia and Brunei is set to soar higher after both countries signed an agreement Tuesday to enhance the cooperation in the area.

The agreement will see both countries embarking on a more comprehensive economic collaboration.

The exchange of the agreement documents was held at the Perdana Putra building here on Tuesday.

Malaysia was represented by Deputy Internationat Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir while Brunei's Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Pehin Lim Jock Send represented the sultanate.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah witnessed the ceremony.
