Kedah MB resumes duties after bout of food poisoning

ALOR SETAR: Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Azizan Abdul Razak has resumed his duties a week after being hospitalised for food poisoning.

Azizan, 70, chaired the state executive council meeting at Wisma Darulaman here, three weeks after it was last held.

The state PAS commissioner was in a jovial mood when answering questions from the media after the meeting, particularly about his health.

“Do you see me as unhealthy?” he asked the media during a press conference.

Azizan said he was admitted to the state-owned Kedah Medical Centre (KMC) after suffering food poisoning during Ramadan.
