Police in Italy, Swiss helping in hunt for Alps killers

ANNECY, France - Police in Switzerland and Italy are helping French investigators hunt for those behind the brutal slaying of a British family in the Alps, prosecutors said on Saturday.

French police who have travelled to Britain to investigate the murder will also question the brother of the killed man, who has already talked to British police to deny reports that the two siblings were involved in a money dispute, he said.

"All neighbouring countries have been mobilised," prosecutor Eric Maillaud told I-Tele television, singling out Italy and Switzerland in particular. - AFP
