Supermarket technician shot dead on the way home
SEREMBAN: A supermarket technician here was shot to death by one of two men on a motorcycle as he was on his way home in Taman Merpati, Rahang, Monday.
Y. Gopal, 34, died on the spot after taking three shots in the chest and one in the head in the incident which took place at 10.20pm, said Negri Sembilan CID deputy chief Supt Lim Kim Fook.
"The two men fired several shots at the victim and four shots hit him, causing him to collapse in front of a house in the housing estate," he said.
Lim said Gopal was married and had four children, and that he also had a criminal record.
The body was sent to the Tuanku Ja'afar Hospital, he added. - Bernama
