Elbe back on his feet after manhood disaster

PETALING JAYA: Mixed martial arts fighter Ray Elbe (pic) is back on his feet again after injuring his penis more than two months ago.
After having a catheter strapped to his leg and being confined to a wheelchair, Elbe feels like a brand new man after it was removed on Wednesday.
“It feels amazing to be able to walk ... Being in a wheelchair and relying on other people to help you get around was difficult.
“As a professional fighter, it was a humbling experience having to depend on others for help with simple tasks like getting to the bank or finding food for dinner,” he told The Star.
Elbe, nicknamed “Magical Ray” who taught mixed martial arts here, injured his penis when he and his girlfriend were having a vigorous session of sexual intercourse in his Kuala Lumpur apartment on Dec 3.
However, Elbe is still having problems raising money to cover the cost of treating his penile fracture, which has now reached RM18,000.
He has tried selling licensing rights to the pictures of him lying on the hospital gurney to American gossip website TMZ.com and has also received donations, but the amount is still not enough to cover his hospital bills.
“I will try to sell the entire story to a magazine or TV show,” he said.
“People love sensational news.”
