Search continues for crew of capsized boat that was carrying illegals


KOTA TINGGI: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) is continuing the search and rescue operation for the skipper and two crew members of the boat carrying 41 Indonesian nationals that capsized early Monday off Teluk Rumania, Pengerang, here.

A spokesman of the MMEA said Tuesday that the Marine Police and Civil Defence Department were assisting in the operation.

The illegal immigrants, all of whom were rescued Monday, comprised 35 men and four women aged between 20 and 40 as well as two girls aged one and two. - Bernama
