53 Malaysian students evacuated in Jakarta
JAKARTA: The number of Malaysian students evacuated from Universiti Trisakti in West Jakarta to the flood relief centre at Malaysia Hall has risen to 53.
Education Malaysia director Assoc Prof Dr Juzhar Jusoh said most people in the group, which included 23 female students, had just returned from clinical training outside Jakarta.
“All of them are safe, except for a couple of students who are suffering from cough and flu. Their families have also been informed about their situation,” he told reporters here Saturday. - Bernama
